Perfect Parenting Observed at a Busy Supermarket

Two days before Thanksgiving, my cart was piled high with perishables, prices all neatly entered into my hand-held scanner, and I was approaching the 12-items-or-less check-out lane. The items were bagged, and I’d be home in a few minutes, able to continue cooking for the holiday.
