Liquor apex body CIABC objects reducing basic customs duty on imported spirits before trade talks with UK
Confederation of Indian Alcoholic Beverage Companies (CIABC), the apex body of leading liquor firms, has objected to any plans of the government to slash Basic Customs Duty (BCD) amid reports of the United Kingdom urging Indian government for tariff concessions on imports of whisky in the free trade agreement negotiations.
